Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.

  1. This contest is for individuals; teams are not allowed.

  2. Any competitor found cheating will be disqualified and banned from future coding contests.

  3. By participating and selecting "I agree to share my contest results and profile information with sponsor companies," you are granting HackerRank permission to share your contest results with GDSC MITWPU.

  4. Residents of the following countries and territories are not eligible to participate or win prizes due to legal restrictions: Antarctica, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bouvet Island, British Indian Ocean Territory, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Christmas Island, Cote D'ivoire, Cuba, Equatorial Guinea, Haiti, Heard Island and Mcdonald Islands, Islamic Republic of Iran, Republic of Iraq, Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea), Kazhakasthan, Lao People's Democratic Republic (Laos), Lebanon, Liberia, Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, Myanmar, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Serbia and Montenegro, Somalia, Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic, Yemen, Zimbabwe.

Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.
  • A participant’s score depends on the number of test cases a participant’s code submission successfully passes.
  • If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved. In a game challenge, the participant's score will reflect the last code submission.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score
