About

MoraXtreme 7.0 is the 7th instalment of Sri Lanka’s largest algorithmic coding competition. A great platform to show your coding skills and analytical thinking more enthusiastically.

Prizes

The top three winners will receive the following prizes:

  • 1st Place: A cash prize of LKR 25,000
  • 2nd Place: A cash prize of LKR 15,000
  • 3rd Place: A cash prize of LKR 10,000

Every participant who follows the rules and regulations will be eligible for a participation certificate

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.
  • Code directly from our platform, which supports over 30 languages. Learn more here.
  • A Maximum of 3 members for a team are allowed.
  • Contesting teams must be registered in the MoraXtreme 7.0 portal.
  • HackerRank is used as the platform for the competition.
  • Teams will be ranked as per the criteria of the HackerRank platform.
  • No need for IEEE membership for participation
  • Teams must use the registered team name as the username
  • Username should be used as follows in the HackerRank platform.
  • Ex : - Team Name -> "ABC" then Username -> ABC_MX7

Scoring

  • Some challenges have a pre-determined score, and the score for such questions is evaluated by the number of test cases the competitor can complete successfully.
  • For some challenges, we may have surprises for you. 😉 For those challenges, just read the scoring section of it.
  • If a participant submits more than one answer for a challenge, the highest score achieved is evaluated as the final score of that challenge.
  • The participants are ranked according to the score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, the winner will be selected by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in the highest score.
  • The sum of the time for the first correct submission for all the problems is displayed in the leaderboard.
