I believe the first explanation example is backwards. According to the formula provided: |Si−Si−1|=|Ri−Ri−1|
I believe the current example:
|c-a| = |x-z| = 2
|x-c| = |c-x| = 21
|z-x| = |a-c| = 2
should be reordered as the following:
I am curious if anyone else agrees.
