I don't want to beat the dead horse, so to speak, and I really do enjoy these tutorials... but I think this problem should be updated to follow a normal partition function. It's supposed to be a quick-sort tutorial; the first lesson shouldn't fail with real quick-sort code and require extra space when it isn't usually required. It's kind of missleading and confusing and detracts from the purpose lesson.
