I don't understand the question apparently. Your code checks only letters next to eachother but does not account for pairs seperated by other single characters. There is no mention that pairs of letters will always be each other so we should be expecting something like "abcad" and should return "bcd" right?
Am I misunderstanding the question or are the test cases just incorrect?
