It's not quite true that both perform the same task - when you call puts with a string that doesn't end in a newline, it writes an additional newline after your string. This difference is detailed (with some others) on this stack overflow question
That said, both functions are working for me. Is your code exactly the same when you submit it? No difference in capitalization or the number of exclamation marks?
