I think it is better to take the task-scoring model from resourse like acm.timus in where the difficuly is calculated based on the number of people actually solved it. or maybe as a ratio of solved/attempt.
By now, there are a lot of examples where some tasks are easy as hell and give you 30 points and whereby some like this one not such easy for 15 points.
