The Selection Journey
We’ve designed a streamlined, three-stage process to help you showcase your technical prowess and collaborative spirit:
Stage 1: The Coding Challenge (HackerRank) Virtual round
• Show us your logic. Shortly after registration, you will receive an invite to a HackerRank assessment. Focus on algorithmic efficiency and clean, readable code.
Stage 2: Virtual Deep Tech-Dive Interview
• Show us your depth. Successful candidates will meet our engineering and product leads for a technical deep-dive. We’ll discuss your tech stack, problem-solving approach, and passion for building scalable digital solutions.
Stage 3: Behavioural & Collaboration Round- In-Person Interview
• Show us your impact. At T&F, how we work is as important as what we build. This final stage focuses on team management, collaboration, and how you align with our core values of respect and continuous improvement.

I have received an invitation for a challenge. How shall I proceed?

Typically, challenges are the first step in a company's candidate screening process. If you have received an invite from your hiring company, log in to the challenge and attempt the questions within the time limit to qualify for the next step of the recruitment process.

I am attempting a HackerRank challenge for the first time. How can I prepare for a smooth experience?

In addition to preparing well before your challenge, it is recommended that you go through the following checklist for a smooth experience.

Ensure you have an uninterrupted internet and power supply to avoid problems during the challenge.
Use a web camera-enabled computer to take a proctored challenge. If your challenge is proctored, you will be notified in your invitation email. For more information, check Taking Proctored Challenges .
Ensure that you do not take part in any malpractices, as this can get captured in your report and may lead to disqualification from subsequent rounds.

Irrespective of whether you receive an email confirmation, your attempt will get submitted as soon as you hit the submit button or when the timer stops. If you still need any further information, we request you to reach out to your recruiter.

I have already submitted my challenge. When will I get my result?

The hiring company will review your attempt and will get back to you with your result. We request you to be patient during this period.
