Event Details

Our Engineering team within our Technology organization is building the future of home and looking for dynamic and talented engineers to join us.  As a Software Engineer at Wayfair you will dive into a number of complex technical projects and gain a better understanding of our business. You will have the opportunity to work with the below group:

 

  • Search and Recommendations

  • Storefront Technology

  • Supply Chain Retail Technology

  • Data & Machine Learning Platforms

  • Employee & Enterprise Technology

  • Enterprise Platform Technology

  • Global Supplier Tech teams

 

Test Access Window: You can access the challenge solely between 11 am and 3 pm IST.

 

Test Duration: Upon logging in, you will have 90 minutes to complete the challenge.

Eligibility Criteria

The event is planned for engineers who identify as women with:

  • Over 3 years of relevant experience in software engineering

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript

  • Participation is restricted to individuals only

Rules

  • Participation in the event is subject to the sole discretion of the organizer.
  • The organizer reserves the right to determine the final ranks in the leaderboard.
  • Any case of cheating will result in disqualification from the event.
  • Test Access Window: You can access the challenge solely between 11 am and 3 pm IST.
  • Test Duration: Upon logging in, you will have 90 minutes to complete the challenge.

The coding challenge is for individual participation only.

Who is eligible to participate?

This event is open to all women engineers with over 3 years of relevant experience.

What is the format of this contest?

This coding challenge consists of multiple programming questions. You are required to solve these questions within the allocated duration of 90 minutes.

Will I receive confirmation upon registration?

If you are shortlisted after registering, you will receive a confirmation email inviting you to participate in the coding challenge.

What are my options if I do not meet the eligibility requirements but want to attend the event?

Unfortunately, we won't be able to consider you for this coding challenge at the moment. However, feel free to explore our career page for the latest open roles.

I have missed my slot. Can I reschedule my challenge?

Rescheduling the event is not feasible. Please ensure you're prepared in advance to prevent unforeseen situations, such as loss of internet connectivity or power outage, and to ensure you can complete your challenge within the given time frame.

I have completed my challenge. When will I get my result?

Firstly, thank you for participating. If you are shortlisted in the challenge, you will receive the next steps of the interview process via phone call or email from the Wayfair Talent Acquisition team within the next two weeks.
