Welcome to Candidate Trial - Pure Storage Engineering Challenge

Please find the link below to our online challenge. Give yourself a full 75 minutes for both sections. Please note that once you start, you cannot exit and log back in. Hence, only start the challenge when you have enough time and please do not exit the page. The first part will be coding based. The second part will be a set of multiple choice questions focusing on general problem solving and logic skills. Best of luck!

Please note that this is just a sample test to try out the Hackerrank interface. You still get 75 minutes, but not as many questions as in the real test you will take later.

More info on the test:

1. This is a programming test. When applicable, please choose the language you are most comfortable with.
2. If the code area contains the function signature, just complete the function alone. We'll take care of the main function, headers, and so on.
3. If you're expected to write the full code, it will be mentioned in the code area. All inputs are from STDIN and output to STDOUT.
4. To understand more about the environment, time limits, etc, you can read the FAQ here.
5. You can print to console to debug your code using the appropriate print command (e.g. printf for C)
6. You can turn on or off autocomplete in the editor's settings
