Welcome to the recruitment process for D. E. Shaw India. This online test is the first step in our process to identify superstars. Please read the below instructions carefully:
- This is a programming & MCQ test for 138 marks with 95 minutes time limit; the format of the test is as follows:

Aptitude Section: 14 Questions for 28 minutes

Technical Section: 12 Questions for 17 minutes

Coding Section 1: 1 Question for 20 minutes

Coding Section 2: 1 Question for 30 minutes

- We recommend you to try the sample test for a couple of minutes, before taking the main test.
- Please note that each wrong answer in the Aptitude and Technical Section will carry a negative marking of 33% of the marks for that question.
- For the coding section, the marks are allocated basis the number of test cases passed.
- In case you do not have any information, please fill "NA". ex: if you do not have a LinkedIn account, please fill NA where the form asks for it.
- In case you are unable to find the college name in the drop down, please select "Other"
