Our mission is to help move the needle in closing the gender gap in computer science. Joining Women's CodeSprint 5 gives women an opportunity to showcase their programming skills by solving real-world coding challenges, win $1,750 in cash prizes, and to get discovered by sponsoring companies looking to hire developers.
Code Like a Woman highlights female achievement and empowerment. At HackerRank, we want to remove the negative connotations of what it means to do something 'like a woman.’ As Barack Obama told the US Women's National Soccer team after they beat Japan 5-2 in the 2015 World Cup Final, "playing like a girl, means you're a badass." We agree and believe that to do anything like a woman means 'you're a badass.’
