Microsoft Student Chapter, Thapar University presents Anti Coding.

Prelims 9:30 pm to 12:30 am on 30th January, 2014.

Rules

  1. Contest will be visible on 30th Jan-2015 (Friday) 9:30 PM onwards.

  2. Contest duration will be 3 hours.

  3. Team with maximum of 2 members is allowed.

  4. Team lead should have a valid HackerRank handle. All submissions should be made from this handle only.

  5. Contest will have 4 questions.

  6. Registration closes 2 hrs before the start of the contest. Registration link is provided above.

  7. Plagiarism by any means will lead to immediate disqualification of the team.

  8. Only teams which register through above mentioned registration link can participate in further onsite round(s).

  9. Year-wise selected teams will be called for onsite round(s) to be held in the University labs.

  10. Only the teams which participate in onsite rounds are eligible for prizes.

  11. The decision of Anti Coding Organizing Committee will be final in case of any discrepancy.

Ranking

Users are ranked according to the most problems solved. Ties will be broken by the total time for each user in ascending order of time.

The total time is the sum of the time consumed for each problem solved. The time consumed for a solved problem is the time elapsed from the beginning of the contest to the submittal of the first accepted run plus 20 penalty minutes for every previously rejected run for that problem. There is no time consumed for a problem that is not solved.

Rules

  • All the challenges will have a predetermined score. Score of a game is calculated using Bayesian Approximation
  • This contest will appeal to programmers who're interested in interesting algorithmic challenges, AI challenges and of course general programming
  • HackerRank admins decision will be final
  • Please refrain from discussing strategy during the contest.
  • Any case of code plagiarism will result in disqualification of both the users from the contest. We've a fairly good plagiarism detector that works at the opcode level.
  • You can code directly on our interface. We support 20 major languages. You can have a look at the environment in which we run your code
