1. What is a HackerRank Skills Certification and why do I need one to participate in the Virtual Career Fair?

   A HackerRank Skills Certification is a credential that you earn by passing a Skills Certification Test or by participating in the Career Fair Contest.

   We currently have basic level certifications available in Problem Solving, Angular, JavaScript, Python, Java, and React and an intermediate level certification in Problem Solving. Get certified here.

2. How do I send my application to companies?

   Once you have a HackerRank Skills Certification, you can begin selecting companies from the exhibitor page. At the end of the fair, the companies you have selected will receive your full profile and recruiters from that company will contact you if your profile matches an open position.

3. What is the recommended level of engagement in the fair?

   We recommend that you log in daily and view live events held by companies and keep your profile updated with your top companies throughout the duration of the fair. If you have questions for recruiters at a company, check the fair schedule to see if they are holding an AMA or see if they have a booking link on their company profile.

4. How do I increase my chances of getting hired by one of the exhibitors?

   The best way to get noticed by recruiters is to build a robust skill profile. Earning extra skill certifications will help you demonstrate your technical ability and set you apart from other candidates. We also recommend that you carefully consider all exhibitors and select companies that you are genuinely interested in.
