Welcome, future coding champions, to the CodeRally 6.0 Training Weeks Challenge! This is your arena to sharpen your competitive programming skills, build resilience, and climb the ranks. Over the next four weeks, you'll tackle a series of carefully curated problems designed to push your limits and prepare you for the ultimate 24-hour hackathon.

Prizes

Please note that no prizes are directly allocated for this current level of the competition. However, successful performance and demonstrated proficiency in these challenges will be a significant factor in your selection for higher categories, which will feature a substantial prize pool in the finals.

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.

  • Timely Submissions: All challenge submissions must adhere strictly to the designated deadlines. Submissions received after the specified timeframe will not be evaluated or considered for scoring.
  • Weekly Schedule: New problem sets will be released weekly, becoming accessible every Monday at 12:00 AM (midnight) and closing promptly on Friday at 11:59 PM.
  • Scoring Metrics: Points are allocated based on the accuracy of your solution, its computational efficiency, and the creativity demonstrated in your approach.
  • Leaderboard Updates: The official Leaderboard will be meticulously updated on the website at the conclusion of each week, following a thorough evaluation of all submitted solutions.
  • Academic Integrity & Plagiarism: The sharing of codebases or any form of solution material between participants is strictly forbidden. Any instance of detected plagiarism, including but not limited to direct copying or substantial derivation, will result in immediate disqualification from the competition and potential further disciplinary action. Maintaining individual integrity is paramount.

Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.
  • A participant’s score depends on the number of test cases a participant’s code submission successfully passes.
  • If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved. In a game challenge, the participant's score will reflect the last code submission.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score
