Ten Things to remember today:

  1. Make sure that your team is registered and logged in on hackerrank.com
  2. DON'T FORGET to change the language to C++ (or a language of your choice) before submitting.

  3. Make sure to click "Compile and Test" button before clicking on "Submit". It will help you know where your errors are.

  4. Use of internet is allowed. But don't try to look for answers online. The problems are custom made so it's impossible to find them online. Internet is provided for looking up syntax ONLY, in case you've forgotten.

  5. The organizers will help you in case you don't understand the problem statement or have problem in taking input.

  6. The contest is speed-based. Ties would be resolved in favour of team who submitted the correct answer first.

  7. Contest is being judged by an online-judge. So there is no possiblity of cheating.

  8. Submission of code takes time. Be patient. Also keep track of the leaderboard and time.

  9. The leaderboard will be closed 20 minutes before the contest ends.

  10. The most important RULE: Don't forget to have fun and enjoy coding!

Rules

  • All the challenges will have a predetermined score. Score of a game is calculated using Bayesian Approximation
  • This contest will appeal to programmers who're interested in interesting algorithmic challenges, AI challenges and of course general programming
  • HackerRank admins decision will be final
  • Please refrain from discussing strategy during the contest.
  • Any case of code plagiarism will result in disqualification of both the users from the contest. We've a fairly good plagiarism detector that works at the opcode level.
  • You can code directly on our interface. We support 20 major languages. You can have a look at the environment in which we run your code
