Goldman Sachs India Hackathon (GSIH) is a 12-hour coding challenge spread across on 2 days.This is a Computer Science (CS) and Quantitative (Quant) hackathon, giving participants the choice to compete in either or both domains.

It’s your opportunity to solve real-world financial and technological problems, showcase your analytical and programming skills, and stand a chance to win exciting prizes and a pre-placement interview (PPI) with Goldman Sachs!

  • Time: 9 AM - 9 PM IST on both days

  • Duration : 12 hours

  • Format: Online, individual participation

Eligibility

Open to students from engineering courses graduating in 2027 & 2028 from eligible colleges (see list below).

Mode

The hackathon will be conducted in an online coding environment with real-world/simulated datasets.

Mentorship & Finale

Shortlisted candidates will attend a mentorship session in June and the finale event at Goldman Sachs campus.

How to Apply?

  • Sign up on HackerRank and create your profile (if you haven’t already).

  • Complete your profile – Enter personal details, college name, and roll number.

  • Select your preferred sections (CS, Quant, or both).

  • Review and confirm the declaration before submission.

  • Submit your information and receive an invitation for participation.

  • Look out for event reminders before the hackathon.
