Please note that partial credit are available for each problem. So even if you submit a solution that doesn't solve all the test cases you can score some points.

Cell Simulation is considerably harder than Number Grid. So its advice to do the Number Grid first.

Since the selection criteria is still not decided it's important that you maximize your score.

Screening Test for Sri Lanka for IOI 2015

Thank you for your interest. Upon completion of this test best performers will be selected for the training pool for IOI 2015.

For those who are selected the training on computer algorithms and data structures will be commenced from the beginning of March, 2015 and continue until June, 2015 on every Sunday.

Sri Lankan team of 4 will be selected from the pool to compete in IOI 2015 (http://ioi2015.kz/) which will be held in Almaty, Kazakhstan from 26th of July to 2nd of August

Rules

  • All the challenges will have a predetermined score. Score of a game is calculated using Bayesian Approximation
  • This contest will appeal to programmers who're interested in interesting algorithmic challenges, AI challenges and of course general programming
  • HackerRank admins decision will be final
  • Please refrain from discussing strategy during the contest.
  • Any case of code plagiarism will result in disqualification of both the users from the contest. We've a fairly good plagiarism detector that works at the opcode level.
  • You can code directly on our interface. We support 20 major languages. You can have a look at the environment in which we run your code
