Work Description 1. Client: British Petroleum: Role: Python programmer Responsibilities: * Developed scripts to optimize the execution time of the ticketing process. * Troubleshoot the failures. * Enhancements of the existing scripts. Environment: Windows Project Description: I had a day to day ticketing task, where users request for the URL to whitelist with business justification. After validating the business justification, the URL will process to add in the whitelisted category. In this task, I took an initiative to automate the whole process and successfully delivered it to the client. I have used different modules, such as requests, os, sys, JSON, datetime, Beautiful Soup. In another day today ticketing task, where users request their email encryption certificates to be sent to them so that they could be able to read the encrypted emails. Even in this task, I took an initiative to automate the whole process using python script and successfully delivered it to the client. 2. Client: Tivo Inc Role: Python programmer Responsibilities: * Developed scripts for testing the STB devices functionalities. * Troubleshoot the failures. * Enhancements of the existing scripts and re-executions. Environment: Windows, Linux Project Description: I had to do regression testing on STB devices for several features (like forward, record, parental control setting. etc.) to see if they are working properly. Here I had developed python scripts for it. I ran those scripts on client-side devices and based on the results of the test case I did the log analysis of the failed test cases and found out the cause of the error and if it was the script issue, we had to fix them. And then after fixing the scripts, we test them on the local STB devices. 3. Client: Cisco Role: Python developer Responsibilities: * Develop python automation code for different platforms. * Write test cases accordingly to check whether the automation is working properly * Troubleshoot the failures Environment: Linux Project Description: I was responsible for developing automation code for Cisco's internal framework CAFY, which was used by the organization for different tests on their platforms. I was also responsible for writing new automation test cases for new platform issues. And If there was an issue with the existing code, I had to troubleshoot the issue and fix the code.
