- Digital transformation (October 2020 – August 2022) ● Managed a cross-functional global matrix team of 12 engineers, shaped the Center for Excellence (CoE) to handle RPA and Low Code No Code initiatives addressing business use cases. I trained 50+ citizen developers in Pega / PowerApps, completed five proofs of concept (PoCs), and, within four months, I delivered eight business requirements that supported 400+ users. ● Optimized more than 40 Robotic Automation Process (RPA) jobs and decreased the number of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) machines from 11 to 5 for effective use; benefit realization of 30% or $58K annually Application Delivery (August 2017 – September 2020) ● Led a team of 10 in an end-to-end delivery of a $3M large-scale IT project, identified potential risks, developed plans for contingencies, and adhered to best practices, techniques, and standards for successful execution. ● Established weekly connections with all stakeholders in all three regions (US, UK, and Germany) and conducted regular discussions on project status reporting, scorecards, and resources, focusing on early risk reduction (addressed 8+ hazards). ● Empowered my 10-person team to adopt Agile practices early on by driving the change from the traditional waterfall technique. Guided to embrace the scrum rituals within three sprints (2 weeks sprint). - Application Maintenance (August 2015 – July 2017) ● Managed a 7-person application management team for the GMM Phase 1 and 9 Automotive Safety Office (ASO) suite, with a $1.8 million yearly budget; resulting in keeping the agreed-upon SLA at 95% to 98% ● Downsized the yearly average incident counts from 600+ to 60 with an annual scrimping of 1 FTE (1920 hours or $68K) by properly implementing Incident management, problem management, event management, and change management together with continuous process improvements (KAIZEN). Brought in great client satisfaction and service. ● Negotiated with vendor the annual $0.8 million licensing contracts (SaaS) to deliver efficient production support during urgent/serious difficulties. Monitoring, accessing, discussing, and presenting metrics on the month-to-month effectiveness versus the agreed SLAs resulted in a 20% yearly reduction in contract cost, or about $0.15M.
