In addition, I am also studying the dynamics of microtubules and their regulation, under the guidance of Prof. Ambarish Kunwar and Prof. Dulal Panda at IIT Bombay.

In MTech, I worked on the classification of biomedical signals (EEG) using various time-frequency analysis techniques e.g. Empirical mode decomposition (EMD) and smoothed pseudo wigner ville distribution (SPWVD), etc. with several unsupervised and supervised learning techniques e.g. K-means, Fuzzy c-means, neural networks and LS-SVM, under the guidance of Prof. Varun Bajaj and Prof. Anil Kumar at IIITDM Jabalpur.

Previously in B.Tech, I have worked on image data compression using discrete wavelet transform (DWT), during an internship at ISAC, Bangalore. I have implemented some small projects in the field of image processing e.g. image watermarking, noise reduction by fuzzy filtering, image resizing using Bessel transform, etc. I have also worked on content-based video segmentation in which I learned appropriate methods for shot boundary detection, selection of appropriate features, and some unsupervised machine learning techniques like Fuzzy c-means and K-means clustering algorithms in B.Tech final year project, under the guidance of Prof. Deepak Mishra at IIST, Thiruvananthapuram.
