Co-Founder
Custom Coup• July 2007 - Present
Jaxis is a custom software development company that I started in 2007. I began by providing custom RFID integrations allowing customers to use disparate hardware vendors with a single RFID Tracking platform. This included site visits to evaluate hardware and software needs, build custom drivers for the various RFID hardware and tags, custom apps for mobile readers, and integrate with other business systems. • Raytheon – Consultant - Inventory Tracking. Built and supported an RFID system (hardware and software) for tracking equipment locations and integrating the data into core systems within the company. • Caterpillar (CAT) – Consultant - Implemented and supported an RFID system for tracking machines during production. Built an edge server for communicating with active RFID trackers to monitor tractor movement through the manufacturing facility. • Unisys - DoD RFID Initiative – Consultant - Built an RFID-based tracking and inventory management system to support the DOD standard for RFID tags and hardware. • Peterbilt – Consultant - Built and supported an RFID solution for tracking trucks as they were manufactured and moved throughout the manufacturing facility. I also built custom business solutions for several businesses that improved their day-to-day operations by integrating those apps with accounting and other business systems. • Conoco/Phillips – Consultant - Migrated spreadsheet-based process to a data-driven approach reducing analysis times from 3 months to 15 minutes. Build a system to pull data from nine different production databases containing data from drilling to production. The data was aggregated into a single SQL database and was delivered to engineers via views for their analysis (using Spotfire). • Halliburton – Consultant - Build a GIS-based heatmap to track the expansion and subsidence of the oilfield over time. Data was provided by ground sensors which were then stored and overlaid on a map to provide a time-lapsed view of the movement of the earth. • Weatherford – Consultant - Migrated a pump maintenance application from Foxpro to .Net/Sql. From 2015 to 2019, while continuing to provide development resources for customers, I also managed IT operations for the Renaissance Aix-en-Provence hotel in the south of France.

GLOBAL CONNECTION HOLDINGS• February 2022 - November 2022
Hired to architect and lead the development effort for building celebrity NFT collections and enterprise loyalty programs. Developed a proprietary token-gated portal for NFT holders to access custom assets, environments, and physical merchandise associated with the user’s specific NFT. Developed a system for building, managing, and publishing NFT collections including custom asset generation and attribute management. Worked with clients to ensure the technology met their needs and managed the business processes and utility to ensure their collections were a success. Developed a loyalty solution that utilized NFT collections as a companion to the existing legacy loyalty programs. This reduced the risk of introducing blockchain technologies to the loyalty space while still allowing customers and clients to benefit from this new technology.
