Senior Industry Intern

• Worked on a bio-medical project for remote monitoring of patients and to conduct remote pathology tests. Reverse-engineered many off-the-shelf medical devices to read the data and send to our central cloud server. Worked on electronics and software of a bio-medical device used for automated pathology testing. • Built an intuitive prototyping device capable of building a wide range of projects for efficient learning, easy building and quick debugging. This was accompanied by a mobile application with step-by-step instructions to build sample projects. This kit has been used to train 1000+ students and working professionals in AI and IoT. • Mentored 1000+ students, working professionals and faculty in AI and IoT as part of various training assignments.

During this time I built prototypes and proof-of-concepts for products and consultancy projects • I built an ultra-low cost wearable device to track individuals in large crowds in both indoor and outdoor environments. This was demonstrated to UP Police Department at Kumbh Mela for precisely tracking their work force among millions of people. Solved constraints of lack of network connectivity, lack of gps and low power usage. Also equipped it with NRF based audio communication. • I built an indoor agricultural test bed for demonstrating Controlled-Environment Agriculture. I used an array of sensors to monitor and control humidity, temperature, soil moisture and light intensity through a cloud based web interface. Water was delivered through a drip irrigation system. I successfully demonstrated the setup by growing coriander plants.
