Work Experience
Research Assistant
NTU-Delta Corporate Lab•  January 2019 - Present
Design, development and testing of vehicle routing and scheduling strategies in a simulated environment provided by the NTU-Delta Corporate Lab.
Software Engineer
Università degli Studi di Salerno•  March 2016 - October 2016
Design, development and testing of a ROS-based software architecture to integrate the Universal Robots' UR10 arm into the laboratory's existing robotic work cell.
Software Engineer
CERN•  July 2015 - August 2015
Design, development and testing of Kibana dashboards to understand, debug and improve critical grid services. CERN-IT-PES is running a large (4'000 servers) batch service and grid services used by thousands of researchers around the world for processing the data of the LHC experiments. Monitoring these services is vital for the success of the data processing.
Graduate Research Assistant
The Pennsylvania State University•  February 2014 - May 2014
I have worked on problems related to remote sensing and renewable energy. In a little bit over three months, I have developed a neural network to generate deterministic forecasts of power generated by a photovoltaic array from weather model forecasts. My software was able to achieve a root mean squared error of about 8%, which is on par to much more sophisticated system used by other laboratories in the USA and Europe using the same dataset.
