• Built the Market Intelligence function at Mamaearth parent HONASA Consumer from scratch that guides New Product Development, and Channel Spending on Digital. • Led a team of 5 engineers to build robust web scrapers for the Indian e-commerce space using the Scrapy framework on python. • Designed and developed a data processing pipeline to perform time series analysis; created a dashboard to visualize and streamline the daily mining of over 100,000 data points. • Built a classification model to segregate products based on their brand, format, proposition, ingredients & other relevant metrics for our business case. • Outcomes: o The tool guided the development of over 30 new products increasing profitability by more than 15% QOQ. o Helped Mamaearth penetrate new categories like color cosmetics & fragrance. o Launched 2 new brands under HONASA, in the ayurveda and skin hydration space. o Ad spending on digital became more targeted improving profitability on digital by 25% QOQ. o The tool is regularly used by the M&A team to conduct due diligence on brands pre-acquisition. Played a pivotal role in the acquisition of 3 companies Dr.Sheth’s, Momspresso & BBlunt.
