There's a lot of action in the Computing space right now. From Tech giants to startups, finance to education and medicine: so much is moving online and everyone is looking for top talent. Here's a practice session for you, with some our popular challenges which focus on the basics. You should try to write (A)Clean and Secure Code with meaningful variable names and functions (B)Well Documented Code, with comments giving a sufficient idea (C) Well formatted Code (D) Accurate, and handles edge cases well (E) Efficient in terms of time and memory.

Remember, that these are not just related to hiring processes, but a reflection of the requirements in large, real-world software projects.

When the Contest ends, we'll highlight some of the most elegant solutions submitted.

Rules

  • All the challenges will have a predetermined score. Score of a game is calculated using Bayesian Approximation
  • This contest will appeal to programmers who're interested in interesting algorithmic challenges, AI challenges and of course general programming
  • HackerRank admins decision will be final
  • Please refrain from discussing strategy during the contest.
  • Any case of code plagiarism will result in disqualification of both the users from the contest. We've a fairly good plagiarism detector that works at the opcode level.
  • You can code directly on our interface. We support 20 major languages. You can have a look at the environment in which we run your code
