Sprint to crack cryptography and security challenges!

In this rapid-fire sprint that introduces a new category of challenge, put on your black hats and get ready to crack ciphers and even exploit vulnerabilities in real-world technology. The challenges range from quite easy (for those new to ciphers and security concepts) to quite tough, and you'll need to need to keep your wits about you as you race for the prize!

This is the first of it's kind challenge on HackerRank and isn't like the ones present on the main site. Good luck!

The Prizes

  • The top 4 contestants will win a Raspberry Pi.
  • The top 10 contestants will win exclusive HackerRank T-shirts.

Challenges


The contest hosts security and cryptography challenges of increasing difficulty and will run for 4 hours.

Rules

  • All the challenges will have a predetermined score.
  • This contest will appeal to programmers who're interested in interesting security challenges
  • HackerRank's admins' decisions will be final.
  • Please refrain from discussing strategy during the contest.
  • Any case of code plagiarism will result in disqualification of both the users from the contest. We've a fairly good plagiarism detector that works at the opcode level.
  • You can code directly in our interface. We support 20 major languages. You can have a look at the environment in which we run your code.
  • Some challenges may have language restrictions.
