The Prizes

The top hackers from your school will get an all-expenses paid trip to San Francisco in September or January to hack with the top 100 student hackers across the nation! You’ll also be hacking with the top engineers in the nation from hot tech startups like AirBNB, Pinterest, Asana, and 20 more!


Rules

  • Must be a current student with a valid .edu email address
  • Code challenge will consist of a single challenge that must be completed in 4 hours
  • Code can be submitted in a variety of programming languages
  • Top 10 students in the leaderboard per school will be invited to the semi-finalist round
  • Students that make it to the semi-finalist round will be requested to fill out a profile
  • A judges panel will screen through all the semi-finalists and choose 100 students to attend the September 2013 Finals event and 100 students to attend the January 2014 SignalFire University Hacker Olympics Finals event
  • Current Juniors/Masters/PhD students will qualify for the September 2013 SignalFire University Hacker Olympics Finals event
  • Current Freshmen/Sophomores will qualify for the January 2014 Finals event
  • If you are chosen to attend the Finals, you will get a FREE trip to San Francisco to Hack with the top hackers in the nation and meet the hottest startup tech companies (Airfare and Hotel will be paid by SignalFire
