Contributed to the modernization of two APIs, promoting best practice based on OpenAPI specs. Created, maintained, and executed performance testing scripts for four APIs. Automated the build of a legacy library from six manual steps to one seamless step, resulting in an improved developer experience. Engineered several APIs following Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, utilizing the Spring framework and the Gradle/Maven build tool, resulting in a clean and easy to maintain codebase. Tested components and API integrations using tools such as Junit, Cucumber, and Blazemeter throughout various development steps, resulting in an increase of availability to over 99.99%. Created and maintained infrastructure code on AWS, using Terraform/Terragrunt and CloudFormation. Successfully containerized Spring Boot applications using Docker, incorporated them into the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline and deployed them to AWS ECS.
