The AdoraHack DSA Challenge is a bi-weekly competition that focuses on data structures and algorithms.

Each challenge focuses on a particular data structure, algorithm, or paradigm for solving coding problems.
DSA Challenge #1 focuses on RECURSION.

A few hours after the competition concludes, the solutions to the problems will be live streamed.

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.
  • Code directly from our platform, which supports over 30 languages. Learn more here.
  • Usage of multiple accounts for the contest is not allowed.
  • Collaboration between contestants is strictly prohibited. After the contest, the solutions of each competitor will be evaluated, and those who were found to have colluded will be disqualified.
  • Before the contest is over, it is forbidden to reveal the contest's solutions.
  • On the slack group in the description, any of the challenges can be clarified.

Scoring

  • Each problem has 100 points.
  • A participant’s score depends on the number of test cases a participant’s code submission successfully passes.
  • If a participant submits more than one solution per problem, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score.
  • A participant's time starts counting after viewing the first problem.
