The DSA Heist, a brain-racing coding battle hosted as part of Hackfest.

In this high-stakes challenge, participants will dive into a curated set of DSA problems on HackerEarth — designed to test speed, logic, and algorithmic precision. From greedy approaches to graph theory, this is where the real coders rise.

You can participate anytime during the 3 days of Hackfest and attempt the challenge solo. The leaderboard updates live — only the sharpest raiders will survive the heist.

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.

📜 Rules & Guidelines

  1. Solo Participation Only
    This is an individual contest — no team submissions allowed.

  2. One Attempt Per Participant
    You can only attempt the challenge once, so make it count.

  3. Open Anytime During Hackfest
    The contest is live throughout all 3 days — participate at your convenience within the given duration.

  4. Leaderboard is Live
    Rankings are based on the number of problems solved and total time taken. Ties will be broken by the earliest submission.

  5. No Plagiarism
    Any form of copying, collaboration, or code-sharing will lead to immediate disqualification.

  6. Allowed Languages
    You may use any programming language supported by HackerEarth.

  7. Internet Use
    You may use documentation (like GeeksforGeeks or Stack Overflow) but directly copying solutions is prohibited.

  8. Final Decision
    In case of disputes, the decision of the organizing team will be final.

Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.
  • A participant’s score depends on the number of test cases a participant’s code submission successfully passes.
  • If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved. In a game challenge, the participant's score will reflect the last code submission.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score
