Welcome to the Python Prowess Challenge, where Python enthusiasts and aspiring programmers come together to test their coding skills and problem-solving abilities! This contest is designed to help participants showcase their proficiency in Python and tackle a range of programming challenges.

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.

Eligibility: The contest is open to students and individuals interested in Python programming. No prior coding experience is required.

Fair Play: Participants are expected to solve problems individually. Collaborative work or plagiarism is strictly prohibited.

Contest Duration: Specify the start and end times for the contest. Participants must submit their solutions within this time frame.

Platform: The contest will be conducted on HackerRank or your preferred coding platform.

Submission Format: Participants must submit their Python code for each problem in the specified format on the contest platform.

Multiple Submissions: Participants are allowed to submit multiple solutions for a problem, but only the last submission will be considered for scoring.

Communication: Participants should refrain from discussing or sharing solutions during the contest. Any questions or clarifications should be directed to the contest organizers.

Scoring: Explain the scoring system clearly. Points are awarded based on the number of test cases passed. Provide details on how ties will be resolved.

Late Submissions: Late submissions will not be accepted after the contest has ended.

Disqualification: Contestants found violating the rules, attempting to cheat, or engaging in any unethical behavior will be disqualified.

Judging: The decision of the contest organizers and judges is final and binding.

Scoring

Each problem in the contest will have a predefined score. Participants earn points based on the number of test cases their solutions pass. The participant with the highest cumulative score at the end of the contest will be declared the winner. In the event of a tie, the participant with the shortest cumulative runtime for their solutions will be ranked higher.
