Welcome to the BYTE CODE event.

Instructions

  • Read Carefully: Carefully read and understand the event instructions and problem statements.
  • Prioritize Marks: Start with higher-mark problems to maximize your score.
  • Effective Teamwork: If you have a teammate, divide and conquer based on your strengths.
  • Time Management: Allocate time for each problem and don't get stuck. Return to difficult ones later.
  • Plan and Test: Plan your approach before coding, and test your solutions thoroughly.
  • Stay Organized: Write clean, well-organized code with meaningful variable names.
  • Submission Deadline: Keep an eye on the time and submit your solutions before the deadline.
  • Ethical Conduct: Follow the rules, don't seek external help, and maintain honesty and integrity throughout the event.

Time Duration

Total time duration allowed is 2 hours.

Prizes

  • Prizes & Certifficate will be given to first, second and third place holder.
  • All participents will get participation certificates.
  • The Khaitan School (Host) won't be competing for prizes although it will participate in the competition

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.
  • Code directly from our platform, which supports over 30 languages. Learn more here.
  • Don't open external websites.
  • Don't close hacker rank.
  • Don't switch screens, the only screen to be remained open is the hacker rank page.
  • The event is being monitored in CCTV's
  • All Computer Systems mainatin the browsing log and are firewall protected.
  • Violating any of the afforsaid rules will result in disqualification from the event.

Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.
  • Team score depends on the number of test cases the participants' code submission successfully passes.
  • If a participants submit more than one solution per challenge, then the participants' score will reflect the highest score achieved.
  • Teams are ranked by score. If two or more teams achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score
