I suppose. But it seems odd that the people who make the language would allow suboptimal solutions. Every job interview I go to, they seem concerned about time complexity so I think I see a disconnect here. You know what I am saying? It is like I try to get a job working at Oracle, and they ask me to solve a coding problem optimally and I do it, then they hire me and then I make a suboptimal API that then goes prime time. Kind of doesn't make sense.
