It's time to unleash the coder within you and seize the opportunity to test your coding skills.

ACM Student Chapter IIT(ISM) Dhanbad along with CodeISM, presents Code Spectrum, a coding event exclusively for the freshers on 26th January, 9 to 11 pm. So charge up your mind and bring your fingers in action to take some beating against the keyboard as you compete to excel.

Prizes

  • Registration at http://tiny.cc/code-spectrum as well as at hackerrank, before the contest, is compulsory, to be eligible for prizes and certificates
  • Prizes would be given in 2 categories:
    1. Overall - All B.Tech first yearites of IIT(ISM) would be eligible
    2. ACM members - all ACM members would only be eligible
  • Certificate of Participation would be given to everyone, who attempts at least one question.

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.
  • Code directly from our platform, which supports over 30 languages. Learn more here.
  • Registration at http://tiny.cc/code-spectrum as well as at hackerrank, before the contest, is compulsory, to be eligible for prizes.
  • Make sure you update your name and institute ("IIT(ISM) DHANBAD" only and none other variant) on your hackerrank profile.
  • If any participant is found discussing answers during the contest, then he/she will be disqualified from the contest. This could also lead to disabling of respective account.
  • Plagiarism is a big NO-NO.

Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.
  • A participant’s score depends on the number of test cases a participant’s code submission successfully passes.
  • If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score
