About

Solving coding challenges is an excellent method to advance your coding abilities. You can study the complexities of a programming language, discover new algorithms, and more by tackling various challenges and puzzles. The event will include challenges in the LeetCode style with an interactive coding playground.

We aim to split this competition into two categories— one for 1st and 2nd years of undergrads and another for tested veterans.

Therefore, we are here with a "Code with Coffee" competition. It serves as a forum for showcasing your aptitude for solving code issues quickly.

Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.
  • A participant’s score depends on the number of test cases a participant’s code submission successfully passes.
  • If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved. In a game challenge, the participant's score will reflect the last code submission.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score
