Codefest CTF Capture The Flag, Codefest'19 invites all hackers to show off their skills on a global platform. It provides students with an opportunity to tackle computer security problems similar to real world scenarios. It aims to engage hackers, beginners and experienced alike in creative exploration of the real world computer security arena. This contest will let you learn and understand the importance of various roles and ramifications in the field of cyber security and will also help you appreciate various common security practices which are followed across the globe.

Total Prizes worth - 50,000 INR.

Overall Prizes:

1st - 20,000 INR.

2nd - 12,000 INR.

3rd - 8,000 INR.

Special Prizes:

Best in India - 6,000 INR.

Best in IIT (BHU) - 3,000 INR.

1st in freshmen/sophomore in IIT (BHU) - 1,000 INR.

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.
  • A participant’s score depends on the correctness of the flag, so either you get full points or zero points. There is no partial marking for any of the questions.
  • If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved. In a game challenge, the participant's score will reflect the last code submission.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score.
