Code++ is ACM-VIT’s annual competitive coding competition that challenges an individual's mathematical prowess and logical thinking skills. The event is a four-hour competition in which the participants are awarded points based on the number of test cases they can pass successfully.

Participation is open for all. There is something for everyone - from absolute beginners to seasoned professionals.

Prizes

This year's contest has a total prize pool worth 15,000 Rs!

  • First Place gets 7,000 Rs
  • Second Place gets 5,000 Rs
  • Third Place gets 3,000 Rs

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.

  • This is a solo contest
  • Contest Duration: 4 hours
  • There will be 15 questions in total
    • 13 questions (of varying difficulty) will be released in the beginning on the contest
    • 2 easy problems will be released in the last 50-60 minutes

Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.
  • A participant’s score depends on the number of test cases a participant’s code submission successfully passes.
  • If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score
