Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.
  • Code directly from our platform, which supports over 30 languages. Learn more here.
  • CodeRally is an online code rivalry open and free to all current university level students in Srilanka.

  • This is an individual participation challenge.

  • Submission of ID proof is compulsory for claiming your prize.

  • Any instance of code plagiarism will lead to disqualification.

Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.

  • The code submitted by a participant will be subjected to multiple test cases.

  • The participant will be scored depending on the number of such test cases his/her code successfully passes.

  • If a participant submits multiple solutions for each challenge, the submission that scored the highest would be considered.

  • The final score achieved by participant will be used for ranking.

  • If two or more participants atttain the same score, the tie is broken by considering the total time taken to submit the last solution, with those who took less time scoring higher.
