is the official pre-event of which will include algorithmic and constrained programming challenges along with math-centric problems - covering three Codefest events (Manthan, Perplexed and Mathmania) at once!

The event is exclusively for students, and you have to be registered at the Codefest website to be eligible for the prizes and make sure that you provide your Hackerrank handle in the update profile section.

So make full use of this opportunity to test the waters, build confidence and gain early bragging rights via the prizes, as the date for the spectacle approaches!

is the annual coding festival of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT (BHU) Varanasi, which is held online from August to August, 2019 and is open to participation by all.

There is absolutely no registration fees and a lot of prizes to be won!

Prizes

The freshmen will be eligible for prizes worth INR 6,000!

  • 1st Positon (overall) - INR 3,000
  • 2nd Position (overall) - INR 2,000
  • 1st Position (IIT (BHU) Varanasi) - INR 1,000

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.

Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.
  • A participant’s score depends on the number of test cases a participant’s code submission successfully passes.
  • If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved. In a game challenge, the participant's score will reflect the last code submission.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score
