DJ CodeStars in association with DJTrinity presents "CODE UNCODE", a competitive coding competition to showcase your programming skills.

This is the online preliminary round for the onsite contest to be held on 25th March, 2017 at DJ Sanghvi College of Engineering, Mumbai. Pariticpants can participate in a team of maximum two people.

In order to be eligible for the onsite contest,REGISTER your team here. THIS IS MANDATORY.

All submissions to the contest should be made from team lead's hackkerank account which you have filled in the above Google form.Only submissions under the lead username in the above form would be considered.

The contest is open only to college students pursuing graduation.

The contest will be of 3 hours running from 22nd March, 2017, 21:00 IST to 23rd March, 2017, 00:00 IST.

The top teams from the online round will be invited to the onsite contest. The selection of the teams for onsite contest will be done according to ACM ICPC regionals selection rules :-

  1. Teams who are found cheated/copied/shared the code are eliminated from the rank list.
  2. Top team from each institution is selected first.
  3. Remaining slots are filled based on the rank, provided the team has solved at least one problem.

The qualifying participants will be notified accordingly.

Prizes

  • Prizes worth Rs. 20,000/- to the onsite winners.Participants only from India are eligible to win the prizes.

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.
  • Code directly from our platform, which supports over 30 languages. Learn more here.
  • Please refrain from discussing strategy during the contest.
  • All submissions are run through a plagiarism detector. Any case of code plagiarism will disqualify both users from the contest.
  • You can also code using our interface, which currently supports over 40 major languages. Learn about our environment and time limits here.
  • HackerRank admin decisions are final.

Scoring

  • Scoring will be based according to the acm-icpc rules.
  • The sum of the fastest solution time plus a penalty of 20 minutes per incorrect attempt for all solved problems. If a problem is not solved, the attempts do not give any penalty to the score.
  • Team Member's submission won't be considered for the correct attempt but the penalty of 20 minutes will be applied per incorrect attempt.
