Join us for an exhilarating coding event exclusively designed for first-year and second-year students of the Faculty of Applied Science, University of Vavuniya. Organized by the esteemed ITCS Club, this competition is your chance to showcase your coding skills and compete against the brightest minds in the university. With challenging questions and a time limit, it's an opportunity to test your problem-solving abilities under pressure and emerge as a coding champion!

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.

  1. Participants must be first-year or second-year students of the Faculty of Applied Science, University of Vavuniya.

  2. Usage of AI tools like Chat GPT and Google Bard is strictly prohibited. Only Gmail, Google account, and HackerRank are allowed.

  3. Personal Wi-Fi hotspots are not permitted.

  4. Participants will have a total of 2 hours to complete the contest.

  5. All participants must adhere to the HackerRank platform for submitting their solutions.

  6. Plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.

  7. Any form of misconduct or violation of the university's code of conduct will lead to strict disciplinary action.

Scoring

  • Each contest consists of 10 questions, with each question carrying 15 marks.
  • Participants will be evaluated based on the correctness and efficiency of their code solutions.
  • The participant with the highest overall score will be awarded the first place in their respective year category.
