Welcome to the Decodeathon's Programming Challenge!

Contest Details

There will be a total of 8 problems (3 easy, 3 medium, 2 hard) with a total score of 100 overall. The score for each problem varies with its difficulty level.

Topics

Mathematics Dynamic Programming Arrays, 2-d Arrays Simple Data structures and Algorithms Sorting and Searching Graphs

Scoring Criteria

Your score is determined by the number of problems you solve correctly. Each problem has a difficulty level assocaited with it and thus has a separate score for each problem. If you are unable to solve a problem entirely, i.e. if you don't pass all test cases, you will still be awarded a percentage of the overall score for the problem.

Ranking Criteria

Your score will be determined by the number of problems you solve correctly. Your rank will be affected by your score and the sum of times at which you make your first correct submission for each problem. Therefore, although the contest is open throughout 19th December, it is advised that you be prepared before attempting the test as the time taken to solve problems affects your rank.

Best of Luck!

Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.
  • A participant’s score depends on the number of test cases a participant’s code submission successfully passes.
  • If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved. In a game challenge, the participant's score will reflect the last code submission.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score
