Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.

  1. Participants must arrive one hour before the challenge for registration and setup.
  2. Cheating is strictly prohibited; solutions must be original and unique.
  3. Participants should only use the JAVA programming language to solve the challenges.
  4. The challenge is an individual competition; collaboration with others is not allowed.
  5. Participants must adhere to the event's code of conduct and maintain a respectful atmosphere throughout the competition.

Scoring

  1. The primary criterion for determining the winner is the completion of all 9 programming challenges.
  2. Time taken to solve the challenges will serve as a tiebreaker if multiple participants complete all the challenges.
  3. Judges will evaluate each solution based on its correctness and time spent.
  4. The top 3 participants will receive certificates from the Dean of COEA, with money gift depending on the the place.
