The Games of Codes (GOC), is an exclusive programming contest designed for B.Tech 2nd-year students. Hosted by the Coders & Developers Club at Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology(MMMUT). The competition challenges your problem-solving skills and sharpens your aptitude. Participants are required to apply algorithms and programming concepts to solve thought-provoking questions.
The questions are designed for you to analyse your level and give a kickstart to your CP journey, their sole purpose is to analyse your performance and help you giving a motivation to dive into the world of Competitive Programming!

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.
  • Code directly from our platform, which supports over 30 languages. Learn more here.
  • Everyone is allowed to participate it in this contest world wide. The contest would be ranked only for the B. Tech second year students of MMMUT.
  • Do not use unfair means for solving the questions. Avoid using AI for solving the questions.
  • The organizers of this contest are free to skip you if any use of unfair means or too much AI generated code is found.

Scoring

  • Every challenge has a binary score i.e., no partial marking. You get a +1 for every accepted solution and 0 in every other case.
  • A participant’s score depends on the number of problems solved completely(not partially).
  • There is a penalty of 5 minutes on getting a wrong answer on any submission.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last correct solution resulting in a higher score.
