Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.

  1. The event has 3 stages of problem solving round as Beginner, Intermediate and Professional.

  2. The following programming languages can be used as you wish: Python, C, C++.

  3. Each stage would contain 2 problems of hardness according to respective stages.

  4. Each stage would be of 100 points in total, distributed as 50 points per question.

  5. A time limit would be provided for each stage. Time limit is the crucial part for deciding the winners of each stage after the consideration of Points scored.

  6. From the first stage(Beginner Stage) only 30(Thirty) top scored participants will be selected to participate in the next stage.

  7. From the second stage(Intermediate Stage) Only 15 top scored participants would be selected to participate in the Final stage(Professional Stage).

  8. Among the 15 participants only the top 3 would be chosen to be the winners.

  9. If few participants scored the same points, the top to bottom order will be arranged by taking into account the time taken to complete the problem.

Scoring

  1. 50 points would be provided for each problem.
  2. 20 minutes is the time limit provided for clearing the whole stage.
  3. Time would be reduced as 30 seconds for every wrong submission.
  4. Time would be reduced for every compliation error you get during testing.
