  • Each problem will have 2-3 cases, a small case and large cases. Most of the time you will need to code in order to simulate the results. Some results can be worked out on paper as well.
  • You can make any number of submissions for the problem. Only the best will count.
  • It is an individual event.
  • There is no need to submit the code for each problem. Only the answer needs to be submitted in the required format, and it will be matched against the correct answer.
  • Some questions may have more than one small case.
  • There will be a separate marking scheme for each of the small cases as well as the large case and the scheme will vary with each problem as well.

Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.
  • A participant’s score depends on the number of test cases a participant’s code submission successfully passes.
  • If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved. In a game challenge, the participant's score will reflect the last code submission.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score
