General Instructions- This contest is intended to be the screening to get into Neuromancers- The Programming society of IITBBS. But, It has been kept as a fun open contest to twitch your programming neurons and to serve you as a good indicator of your coding skills.

THIS CONTEST IS OPEN TO EVERYONE INTERESTED ENOUGH.

The questions are put in an increasing difficulty level of order. Initial questions are maths/formula based questions meant for beginners in coding. Last few questions may include searching, sorting , trees, graphs to make it interesting for the ones seeking some real challenge.

For IIT Bhubaneswar students This contest will serve as an indicator of your position in terms of competitive coding in the institute which is an important factor for scoring internships in IT/CSE companies. But For Those who seeking an induction into Neuromancers , the best performers of this contest will be inducted (we will prepare the list of 1st year participants separately. So don't worry if you are lower in the rankings in comparison to other experienced coders of the institute).

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.

Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.
  • A participant’s score depends on the number of test cases a participant’s code submission successfully passes.
  • If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved. In a game challenge, the participant's score will reflect the last code submission.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score -difficulty level is praportionate to score. -Cheating in any form is unacceptable. It will automatically result in disqualfication.
