About

  • Participants are suggested to sign up for the HackerRank platform before entering the hackathon.
  • Participating teams are expected to bring their own laptops.
  • The contest will consist of 5 questions. The teams are required to solve the questions in the most optimized way and in as little time as possible.
  • In case of a tie, the most optimized solution, will be considered the winner
  • Participants caught copying the solution from the internet would be disqualified.
  • Follow best practices for coding, such as commenting and code organization.
  • Keep in mind the time constraints and plan your project accordingly.
  • Consider the scalability and maintainability of your code, as it may be further developed after the hackathon.
  • Have multiple solutions ready in case of technical difficulties or last-minute issues with test cases.
  • Have fun and enjoy the experience!

Prizes

  • The winners will be awarded exiciting cash prizes
  • Certificates of participation and merit would be awarded to the winners

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.

  • Any team if caught copy pasting, would be disqualified thereof.
  • Participating teams are free to choose their respective language.

Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.
  • A participant’s score depends on the number of test cases a participant’s code submission successfully passes.
  • If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved. In a game challenge, the participant's score will reflect the last code submission.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score
