About

The aim of this event is to enable the participants learn Python Programming in the language of their choice. They can choose from over 23 different languages to learn programming from Spoken Tutorial (www.spoken-tutorial.org)

Competition Comprises of 02 Rounds.

- Round 1: Learn Python from Spoken Tutorial. - Round 2: Online Programming Competition on 31st May, 2020.

After learning process, we are conducting an Online Programming Competition to enable the participants showcase their talent and compete to win exciting prizes.

Prizes

  • Chance to learn programming in the language of your choice.
  • Certificate of Participation for all participants from Spoken Tutorial, IIT Bombay.
  • Certificate of Excellence and Cash Prize upto ₹1000 for Top 3 Winners.

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.
  • Code directly from our platform, which supports over 30 languages. Learn more here.
  • In case of a tie, Average Time of first correct submission for all problems will be considered for deciding the winner.
  • There is 2 Seconds penalty for each wrong submission, so be double sure before submitting.
  • Some test cases will be Hidden to check the corner cases and will not be disclosed.
  • Plagiarism is highly discouraged hence a participant caught will be Disqualified.
  • Judge's Decision will be final.

Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.
  • A participant’s score depends on the number of test cases a participant’s code submission successfully passes.
  • If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved. There is 2 Seconds penalty for each wrong submission, so be double sure before submitting.
  • Participants are ranked by score. In case of a tie, Average Time of first correct submission for all problems will be considered for deciding the winner.
